Hello! My name is Fernando and I am delighted to welcome you to Historyteller, my new guided tour project in Portugal.

History has always been one of my greatest passions, and with Historyteller, I want to offer you a new perspective on our Portuguese sites and monuments. My goal is to go beyond facts and random curiosities. As the name suggests – “Storyteller” – I aim to tell the story of countless generations and events that have shaped our present, immersing you in a more immersive and, whenever possible, chronological experience.

I believe that true immersion happens when history is told, and not just reported. That is why my tour format aims to make participants feel truly immersed in the narrative of each place. And yes, although the basis is always factual, at opportune moments we will open the door to explore the myths and legends that enrich these places. After all, history is also made up of these nuances and, in moderation, fantasy can be what drives us on an even more intense search for the truth.

I hope this blog will be your starting point to uncover the secrets of Portugal, one story at a time. I feel that, with this project, I have something I can be proud of and that is worth sharing with you. Join me on this journey!
