At Historyteller, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our valued customers and our tour operations. Please read the following refund policy carefully.

Full Refund for Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the tour: You can cancel your booked tour up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of your visit and receive a full refund of the tour price.

Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows: Unfortunately, cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour’s scheduled start time or failure to show up for the tour will not be eligible for a refund. This is due to the costs already incurred in preparing for your visit.

Tour modifications or Cancellations by Us:

  • Modifications: We reserve the right to make minor changes to tour itineraries, inclusions, or schedules due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, local events). In such cases, you will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Cancellations: If we have to cancel a tour for reasons within our control, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or the option to reschedule your tour for a future date (subject to availability).

Refund processing time: Once a refund is approved, please allow a reasonable processing time for the funds to be credited back to your original payment method. This timeframe can vary depending on your payment provider.

How to request a Cancellation and Refund: To cancel your booking and request a refund (if eligible), please notify us in writing (via email to [email protected]) at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour start time. Please include your booking reference number and the details of your cancellation request.

Important Notes:

  • The ability to receive a full refund is contingent upon your cancellation being received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time.
  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]
